1 Day Shimba Hills Reserve Tour

Shimba Hills is a tropical rain forest which covers an area of 202 km2. Physical attractions include casuarinas forests, Marere Dam (a water hole where come to drink water), Sheldrick Waterfalls. The landscape is grassland. Animals seen in this area include elephants, bufalos, giraffes, impalas, heeartbeasts, rare leopards, black and white monkeys, attractive sable antelopes, and roan antelopes among others. Shimba Hills has different species of birds like (tropical guinea fowls, fish eagles, falcons and weaver birds, ground horny bills among others.

Itinerary

After  early breakfast at your hotel we will drive up to Shimba Hills National Reserve and enjoy a game drive in search of the rare Sable Antelope, Elephants, Buffalo, Giraffes, Impala and Leopards, in the park before having lunch.

After lunch head to Elephant Lookout where mid-afternoon you will go on a hike with a Ranger down to the beautiful Sheldrick Falls and relax beside the coolness of the waterfall. Then depart from the park.
